Steampunk Edinburgh

Tucked away in a bland anonymous and discrete site in North Edinburgh lies the Royal Museum’s back shop and store.  Here are the conservation rooms, the taxidermists and the power halls where enormous jigs, turbines, coal cutters and engines squash together.

It’s open once a year in September and these are from this year’s open day.
