The Scottish Referendum seems to be bringing out the imaginative in its campaigners. The photo above which was submitted to the Edinburgh Evening News is a sheer delight. (I dont know who took this but if someone lets me know then I will credit them.)
Now before the eco lobby and the environmentalists get up in arms this appears to have been a banner rather than any attempt at producing a “white horse for Edinburgh” carved into the living rock, and certainly not a grafitti painted daub. It can all be tidied up very quickly! Its just a bit of fun.
I cannot remember any time politics has quite so grabbed people’s imaginations and promoted such involvement even the 79 referendum.
